[The video feed clicks on, and oh hey it's the student kitchens in the background. There's two big pots on the stove and a really big rice cooker over there on the counter and oh hello there's a Bulba in the feed now. He's given up on the effort of trying not to seem really tired, and he seems pretty distracted on top of that.]

In case you were wondering um... Kirby had to go back to Dreamland for a while. Something came up...

[He frowns, looking like he really doesn't want to talk about it and makes a motion towards the stove with his head to switch the subject.]

Oh, uh, if anyone's hungry or whatever, I made some curry and... kind of made too much out of habit... There's both spicy and mild so. People are welcome to it so it doesn't go to waste. It's down here in the student kitchens.

Uh... that's it. Thanks.

[And then the feed cuts off.]

Mm, that's true... That sort of thing has been happening kind of frequently, hasn't it?

[He's going to start getting up from the table.]

Are you hungry at all?

Yeah! A little. [Oh boy curry oh boy. He peers over at the pots of curry that have been cooked and can definitely smell them.]

[Oh. Oops. That response could fit both those questions.] A little hungry, I mean. And, yeah... it has. Knuckles said so too! They go away for a loooong time and come back to find only a day went by. It hasn't happened to me, but... who knows? I should think about that next time I go home.

That's so weird... [He is getting a plate of rice.] I wonder what makes it happen... Maybe a Celebi is around or something.

Which one would you like to try? [Bulba points at each of them.] That one's spicy, and this one is pretty mild.

Which one do you think is better? [He then decides to take his own seat at the small table, but is still chiefly focused on Bulba.] I have only had curry once. It was pretty good! But kind of spicy, right?

Yeah! Mmm... I like the milder one myself, but I'm not really big on spicy food so. I put some apple slices in that one. The spicier one has some beef in it since its the one my teammates usually eat... [DRAGONS...]

I want mild, then! [He begins to bounce in his seat.]

So uhh. You said something earlier... I don't remember what the word was. Selenti? [He stops bouncing and looks rather perplexed. HUH... FOREIGN NAMES.] You said maybe it was around, but... I don't know what it is.

[Bulba laughs a little briefly over his excitement. It's almost like he sort of forgot how to do that for a little while there. Ladling out the curry here we gooo.]

Hmm? Oh! Yeah, Celebi. [Here comes your food woooo.] It's another Pokemon... they say it goes through time and stuff.

[wooooo food. Boy is Pit happy to see you.] Ohhh. Time. Now I see why you talked about it.

But... there might be other things able to change time and how we go through it. We come from such far away places that even I don't know how to explain it, so, time is probably distorted anyway. [He picks up his spoon and considers taking a bite after finishing his words.] Or maybe someone else is doing it...? Maybe it is Celebi? How will we ever know? So many beings can have that power... it's amazing, when I think about it.

[Scoop. NOM.]

[Bulba took one of the other seats in the meantime.]

I guess we'd have to ask or find someone that actually knows... Never met one myself, they're pretty elusive. [He props his chin in his hands, thinking over it.] There's a lot of people that seem to just be from different times, really. Swords and shields and all that... people just use them in stories now, back home. Maybe there's just something crazy going on with the city itself.

[Pit nods with his musings. But he needs to swallow before he speaks!] The city is strange, all right. And it's not just because I came from a time long ago! I always suspected the city, myself. There's a lot I want to know about this place.

[Maybe he shouldn't talk about what he and Falcon found one day under the school somewhere. Something about that felt secret, like he should keep it under wraps. Why, though? He wasn't sure. Maybe the timing wasn't right.]

I wish I was there when the Aparoid War happened... Maybe then I would know more!

I don't know... I don't really understand much more about the city than you do and I was there. Though I guess I was paying more attention to making sure Green and everyone was okay more than what might have been going on with the city itself... Hmm.

[All of the ponderings are happening. All of them.]

Hmm! [yes, all of the ponderings, brought to you by one bulba and one pit.]

Oh well. [He took another bite, then swallowed.] So, how are you? Anything going on?

[Is there anything going on. Hahahaha that is a great question. Let him just... figure out how he actually wants to answer that.]

I'm alright, I guess. Ups and downs and all that. What about you? What have you been up to? It feels like it's been a while!

It has, it has! We haven't really talked in a while. I'm doing a lot better now. My wing is pretty much healed all the way and life is good. Graduation is coming up again, too... I was busy this year!

[He smiled a little.] I'm glad to hear it. It's good to keep busy.

Graduation... that is right around the corner, isn't it? [SUDDEN REALIZATION.] Oh my god are Char and Nyx graduating. [Bulba maybe you shouldn't sound so unknowing about this.]

If they're seniors, yeah. [Wow, it sure does look like Bulba is only now thinking about this! He grins at that.] Do they have any plans after graduation?

[Leaaaaning back in his chair, cupping his chin in a very pondering manner. Honestly he's not sure how they got to be seniors but he's not going to say that out loud. DID THEY EVEN GO TO ANY CLASSES REGULARLY...]

... I don't know. I guess it depends on what Green wants to do. They're not really into the school thing so I don't think they'd be interested in the university classes.

Green... Oh, right! [He lifts a finger (like a lightbulb going off).] They're Pokemon. So if Green stays, they'll probably stay, too.

Yeah, that's right. I mean unless they feel like going back to the gym or something. Though if Greens goes then yeah, we'll definitely be taking off.

[He keeps up his smile, but it sagged a little at the edges.] Staying together, huh? That's nice. [He stirs his curry around absently.] So... if you ever leave this place, would you come back someday? Or would you be gone for good, you think?

[Was Kirby gone for good, too?]

We're a team so... [He shrugs a bit, as if staying together would have been really obvious. The next question gets him to pause, and he leans forward again to rest his arms on the table.]

If I still had friends that were around, I'd probably come back to visit at least. So I guess as long as you're here I've got more than enough reason to drop by.

[Him? He's flattered about that and it's obvious by the way he shrinks in a little and lets off a goofy smile. His eyes betray that too.]

I'm glad! I hope that when I go home, I can drop by, too. I love all the friends I made, even the ones who aren't here anymore. I wonder how they're doing right now? Like Kirby... It sounds like he has something important to do. He better have a story to tell! I want to hear it.

I'm sure he will! I bet it will be something really exciting. [There's a smile, but it looks a little sad.] We'll have to be sure to ask him all about it.

I'll remember if you don't! Say... Were you guys best friends? Well, if not best best friends, then you were definitely good friends; I can tell. You must miss him a lot.

Yeah, he wa... is my best friend. [He looks down a bit.] We were going out for a little while, up until he left. I miss him a ton.
